How scoring works
Three hearts, daily puzzles and the leaderboard
Scoring in the official app is simple: hearts count mistakes, the leaderboard ranks completion time. The board on this site has no hearts — only a timer.
Three hearts: three mistakes
The official app gives you three chances. Seat a cat where it does not belong and you lose a heart; lose all three and the level restarts. That is why the app plays more carefully than the web board.
Daily puzzle: a fresh board every day
On top of the numbered levels, the app publishes a new daily puzzle that sits outside the campaign. The web board has no daily puzzle, but all 350 levels are open at any time.
Leaderboard: fastest time wins
The app ranks players by completion time, which matters most on the daily puzzle. The web board only times you locally: your solve time appears when a level clears, and it is never uploaded or ranked.
